GEDA 2 PK plays a leading role at the Paris Philharmonic
On the construction site of the new Philharmonie de Paris, which is being built on the premises of the Parc de la Villette, a GEDA 2 PK crane operator hoist of the Bavarian-based construction hoist manufacturer GEDA-Dechentreiter GmbH & Co.KG is being used. It is the first time since 1927 that a new concert hall is being built in Paris - a fantastic challenge for GEDA to participate in this significant project.
Lift refurbishment in the block of flats - Interim solution sought after - found GEDA!
During renovation of the district-owned blocks of flats in Kaufering, the aging lift in the block also had to be refurbished and the building owner – the rural district of Landsberg am Lech – sought after an interim solution.
First GEDA building maintenance unit in Kuwait city in use
At the beginning of the year a GEDA building maintenance unit, Type GEDA-FBA F-SO-3-S, made its way from Thuringia to the Emirate Kuwait, nearly 4000 kms away as the crow flies. The building maintenance unit was developed and manufactured in Gera, where a branch of the Bavarian construction company GEDA-Dechentreiter GmbH & Co.KG is located.
With its nooks and small streets the French capital Paris is having its own special charm. But what if a transport platform has to be erected for the renovation of an old building in one of these small one-way streets?
The Bavarian construction hoist manufacturer GEDA-Dechentreiter GmbH & Co.KG was one of the 2000 exhibitors taking part in the ConExpo 2011 which took place in Las Vegas from 22 – 26 March this year.
GEDA presents itself with style at Air & Style Munich 2011
The top class winter sport event took place on 12 February: the Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich 2011. After a three-year break, the mother of all snowboard events returned to the Bavarian capital, attracting 25,000 spectators to the Munich Olympic Stadium.
Between the 8th and 11th of February 2011, the first bC India Trade Fair – BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA – was held in Mumbai. Amongst the over 500 exhibitors from 30 countries, Bavarian manufacturer of construction hoists GEDA-Dechentreiter GmbH & Co.KG was also there at the start.
Mainz Cathedral is more than 1000 years old and is the result of centuries of active building work by Mainz archbishops and canons. It is located at the centre of Mainz's old town on the west bank of the Rhine and is an attractive tourist destination. Extensive general renovations of the inside and outside of the cathedral were agreed in 1997. In March 2001, renovation work finally began with the erection of scaffolding on the north-side flanking tower of the east section. Work was divided into separate renovation stages and a cost estimate was made. The result: The total renovation of inside and outside the cathedral was estimated at 25 million Euros (which was 50 million Deutschmarks at the time). Renovations were planned to last for 15 years.
