GEDA’s state of the art Industrial Rack and Pinion Elevators have been especifically designed for industrial use, including the mining industry, where there is a growing need for safe, reliable vertical transportation of personnel and material to access the work area the requirement for emergency escape. As a result, we can offer our modular GEDA SH Personnel and material elevator with rack and pinion drive system to meet the challenge, since it requires a minimum hoistway and all controls and drive assembly is located on top of the cab.

GEDA can offer several elevator options to meet the service requirements of the mining industry including: Mines.

You have the choice between several platform dimensions and capacities ranging from 300 kg – 2700 kg and lifting speeds up to 60 m/min. We can also offer you explosion proof duty elevators designed to meet your needs and application.

GEDA meets industry codes and can be certified to meet ANSI A17.1 and EN-81. GEDA is ISO 9001:2008 complaint and is a member of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA).
