Many reasons to celebrate…

The company GEDA Dechentreiter GmbH & Co.KG has had many reasons to celebrate this week. The company has been one of the leading manufacturers in the construction machinery industry all over the world and has successfully been represented in the market for almost eight decades now. GEDA was founded by Georg Dechentreiter senior in 1929, at that time agricultural machines were sold and repaired. His son Georg Dechentreiter junior pursued his successful strategy until he retired a couple of years ago. However, he insisted on congratulating the probably most loyal and long-time employee Mr Alfred Hurle personally on his 50th company anniversary in the course of a small celebration. Mr Dechentreiter once employed Mr Hurle and was therefore more than pleased to take this opportunity in order to thank him for the many years he has given to the company. Also Johann Sailer, the Managing Director, thanked Mr Hurle for the good cooperation. During his speech he emphasized the importance of long-time employees for a company’s success.

Just one day earlier Johann Sailer invited Mr Dechentreiter to a champagne reception in the company in order to celebrate his 75th birthday together with all department managers of company GEDA. As a birthday gift Sailer presented him the latest aerial photos of both headquarters, Asbach-Baeumenheim and Gera. By doing so he demonstrated again, how much Georg Dechentreiter had done for the company and that he was the one laying the foundation for the good development of the company. At the moment 230 people work at GEDA, tendency is rising and the turnover in 2006 was doubled. The brand GEDA represents worldwide quality made in Germany.
