An entrepreneur driven by a passion to shape the future!

Johann Sailer holds a degree in mechanical engineering and completed his academic studies at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. He began his career in the traditional manner at Deutz-Fahr GmbH. There, he learned the craft of mechanical engineering from the ground up – an experience that laid the foundations for his later success as an entrepreneur.

 

In 1990 Johann Sailer began his career at GEDA. As plant manager with sole power of attorney, he quickly took on responsibility; just five years later, he joined the management team.

 

Since 1999 he has shaped GEDA’s development as a managing partner.

 

In 2017 he took over the company as sole owner and has been leading it ever since with a clear approach: entrepreneurial courage, a down-to-earth attitude and a focus on long-term success.

 

Beyond his own company, Johann Sailer has been actively involved in the industry for many years.

Since 1999 he has been a board member of the Construction and Building Materials Machinery Association within the VDMA.

 

Since 2005 he has also been active in the Steering Group of the CECE, the Committee for European Construction Equipment.
