GEDA and Mace Industries start collaboration in the UK

With Mace Industries GEDA-Dechentreiter GmbH & Co.KG has secured a significant partner in the UK which will enable it to extend its excellent service to the British market.

Founded in 1986 Mace Industries is now a successful manufacturer of flexible, portable conveyors for every aspect of material movement throughout the building and warehouse industries. Mace Industries is a family business and has developed an excellent reputation for quality and service in the British construction industry. All Mace Industries products are manufactured in the UK by a strong team and associated services are also of course carried out by the company's own well-trained service employees.

Mace informed GEDA that it was very interested in a collaboration at bauma 2013. The two companies already knew each other as they produce similar products in the height access technology sector. Now a win-win situation for both firms has emerged out of the former competitive relationship.
“We were looking for products to expand our portfolio” explains marketing director Luke Mace. “The GEDA devices are the perfect enhancement to our range, since now we can also equip our rental customers with significantly more devices and considerably simplify their supply chain.”

The extent of the GEDA product range is second to none. Spanning small 60 kg wire rope lifts up to 3.2 tonne passenger lifts with lift heights of up to 400 metres, the GEDA product range could not be wider. According to a convinced Adolf Wender, the GEDA regional sales manager, “As the only worldwide manufacturer, GEDA offers everything from a single source - from tender preparation through to service - and it is this aspect that has convinced demanding customers such as Mace Industries.”

Mace is initially adopting the GEDA small unit products into its range. This means that the GEDA LIFT, GEDA MAXI 120 S and the 200 Z, 300 Z, 500 Z rack and pinion lifts plus other GEDA products will now be available more quickly and easily in the UK.
Customer proximity and service do not stop for GEDA and Mace Industries with the delivery of the device. Mace will also store a range of spare parts and accessories so that British customers can be supplied as quickly as possible and also be equipped for maintenance work. Customers will also be able to participate in product training sessions given by GEDA and Mace Industries in the UK.

The way ahead for a trusting and successful collaboration has now been set out and both Mace Industries and GEDA are looking forward to jointly executing numerous building projects in the UK.
