A wire rope lift for every building site situation

Regardless of whether the work is being carried out on a new build project, scaffolding assembly or on a renovation, with the wire rope lifts from GEDA's comprehensive product range, the height access specialist offers construction workers practical material hoists for all those materials on a building site that have to be transported upwards quickly and safely. Workmen have the choice between unguided wire rope lifts or the GEDA Lift inclined hoist which transports diverse loads via a ladder system.

GEDA lifts stand out through their robust workmanship, ease of assembly and use and therefore can defy even the toughest environmental conditions. Nor do cramped space conditions on construction sites present a problem for the transport professionals since due to their compact design the lifts can be accommodated on the smallest of building sites or on narrow pavements. Different load capacities up to 500 kg, hoisting speeds up to 30 m/min. and lifting heights up to 100 metres as well as practical accessories make the material hoists flexible to use as they can also be ideally adapted to local site conditions.

If heavy rated loads and/or higher lifting heights are required, the GEDA material hoists and transport platforms are a practical alternative to the wire rope lifts The transport platforms even score twice here as in addition to the transportation of a wide range of building materials, they are also authorised for use as personnel hoists.

The GEDA wire rope lift professionals

Construction workers from all sectors are very well aware of the benefits of a GEDA wire rope lift.

The unguided GEDA Mini/Maxi wire rope lifts are fastened underneath the scaffolding and because they are easy to assemble and fast to implement they are the ideal support tool for scaffolders. The light-weight swivel arm is simply attached at the top of the scaffold at the desired height. A special transport frame has also been developed for the wire rope lifts in the Mini/Maxi series. The lift is fixed securely with a quick lock and can be fixed directly to the scaffolding at its point of use. The robust undercarriage of the transportation frame is also suitable for an uneven subsurface.

On the other hand, the compact, unguided swivel arm hoists from the GEDA Star series can be used at any position on the scaffolding, in the window, between storeys or on the roof. The electric winch can be separated from the swivel arm which means it can be assembled by one person.

With over 75,000 devices sold, the GEDA Lift inclined hoist completes the wire rope lift range. The universal transport professional is available in three different designs and transports all building materials upwards via a robust ladder system.

The inclined hoist range also includes a practical and robust lift box made of galvanised sheet steel where lift winches, head sections, trolleys, controls and limit switches can be stored safely. Using a forklift take-up point the lift can be transported safely to its place of work and then stored away clean.

The GEDA range contains many different load carrying devices which enable the simple transportation of all types of building materials as well as scaffolding and tools for all wire rope lift professionals.
