GEDA’s state of the art Industrial Rack and Pinion Elevators have been especifically designed for industrial use, including bridges, where there is a growing need for safe, reliable vertical transportation of personnel, tools and material to conduct inspections and service. Modern suspension bridge designs are required to be aesthetic, lighter, stronger and with taller and even inclined towers which make it difficult to access during inspections of cables and general maintenance. As a result, we can offer our modular GEDA SH personnel elevator with rack and pinion drive system to meet the challenge, since it requires a minimum hoistway and all controls and drive assembly is located on top of the cab.

GEDA can offer several elevator options to meet the service requirements of bridges including: Permanent Installations on Columns on Suspension Bridges, Lift Bridges and Temporary Installations for Maintenance and Construction.

You have the choice between several platform dimensions and capacities ranging from 300 kg – 2700 kg and lifting speeds up to 60 m/min.

GEDA meets industry codes and can be certified to meet ANSI A17.1 and EN-81. GEDA is ISO 9001:2008 complaint and is a member of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA).
