GEDA Multilift in action !

One and a half years ago GEDA presented its new Multilift line for the first time. Time to see the hoist in action.

The so-called new middle class device “Multilift” has taken a new market segment by assault. The compact, easy to use hoist has rapidly found numerous customers all over the world. The main reason for this positive trend is the fact that often oversized hoists were used at building sites due to the lack of reasonable alternatives on the market.

Besides the higher acquisition costs, logistic and transport costs influence the purchase decision, as well. Moreover the often limited available space at construction sites and the time consuming, sometimes complicated assembly of large personnel hoists play a decisive roll. All these points were considered when developing the Multilift.

For example the complete base unit is delivered as one piece with perfect dimensions for container shipping or truck transport. At the building site you can then start erecting the hoist without having to assemble individual parts for the car first. Absolutely new and unique is the new flat cable which is already integrated in the base enclosure. This patent-registered innovation has only equipped as standard in the Multilift line so far and offers a lot of advantages – only GEDA can offer.

Project: QUEENS SQUARE LAW COURTS

This GEDA Multilift P12 installed by Conveyor, Hoist & Lift stretches to a massive 135m. It is attached to the NSW High Court building and needless to say every aspect of safety from installation documents to design approvals was scrutinised by this legally motivated customer.

The hoist has been hired by Reed Constructions Aust Pty Ltd who is undertaking asbestos removal and renovation works on the 27 level building. The GEDA P12 was installed using standard scaffold tube and clips without a rigger even leaving the platform cage – gone are the days of needing to access the platform roof or lift the bracing into position with a crane.

Project: Residential building in the centre of Oslo

The company UCO, a Norwegian rental company, installed two new GEDA Multilift P6 together with 32 GEDA landing level gates at a residential building in the centre of Oslo. The building stays completely occupied during the renovation period. The hoists are used for transport of people and material, so all noise and dirt is kept outside the building. UCO has chosen two identical but independent hoists for that site to keep flexibility in attending further orders.
